Description: A significant location on the line, Queanbeyan is also the point where the Canberra Line branches off. The 90m station had a dock at the up end. Opposite the station were several sidings, one of which becomes the branch line. At the down end is a pair of sidings, serving a loading stage, goods shed and engine shed. At the down end of the station was a water tank and ash pit. By 1987 the loco servicing facilities were gone, but a turntable had been added opposite the station.
