| Description: |
Consisted of a pair of 70m platforms around the main lines. The line to the Neath Colliery left the up main at a trailing junction just to the north of the station. A short distance behind the down platform lay the branch line to Abermain No 2 Colliery. The signal box on the up platform was used as a staff exchange location until 1996.

The platforms are still present, with a well-preserved (and locked) toilet block and signal box on the up platform. The down line has been lifted, although it is still visible in the level crossing just to the south. The branch lines are gone although the place where the Neath Colliery branch crossed the main road is still obvious.
